1) Make sure you have Java SDK version 6 or 5
- Run CMD
- Type "java -version"
- If you get java version "1.6.XXX" then you are good instead you get java version "1.7.XXX" you need to install the older version which you can find on: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html
2) Go to https://developers.google.com/eclipse/docs/install-from-zip and install the appropriate file for your eclipse version. Once you downloaded it extract the zip file somewhere simple say desktop.
3) Then go to eclipse, then go to Help, then go to Install new Software, then click on add, then select from local. Once you do that give it the file you extracted which is located on the desktop in step 2
4) Now go to this link: http://googleappengine.googlecode.com/files/appengine-java-sdk-1.7.4.zip to download the appengine SDK. Once you downloaded it extract the zip file somewhere simple say desktop.
5) Then go back to eclipse, then go to Windows, then go to Preference, then select google and under that select App Engine and then select add where you will give it the file you extracted which is located on the desktop in step 4.

5) Then go back to eclipse, then go to Windows, then go to Preference, then select google and under that select App Engine and then select add where you will give it the file you extracted which is located on the desktop in step 4.
